Firstly, our representative will greet you and facilitate a smooth transfer to your pre-booked hotel in Darjeeling. As you ascend the winding roads, you will feel the cool, refreshing mountain air and catch glimpses of stunning valleys. Upon arrival, complete your check-in and unwind. Subsequently, you can spend the evening at your leisure, exploring the vibrant local markets on Darjeeling's Mall Road. We recommend a restful night to prepare for the exciting days ahead.

Sunrise, Steam, and Scenic Vistas

We start before dawn today for an unforgettable experience. You will drive to Tiger Hill to witness one of the most spectacular sunrises over the Kanchenjunga peak. On a clear day, you can even see Mount Everest painting the sky in hues of gold and orange.

After this magical start, we return to the hotel for a hearty breakfast. Next, you will embark on a sightseeing tour of Darjeeling's most iconic attractions. Your journey includes a visit to the Batasia Loop, a magnificent engineering feat where the Toy Train spirals around a lush garden. Furthermore, you will enjoy a joy ride on the UNESCO World Heritage Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (Toy Train), a nostalgic experience chugging through the town's picturesque landscape. The day also includes visits to the Ghoom Monastery, one of the oldest in the region, and the Japanese Peace Pagoda, radiating serenity and panoramic views.

Zoos, Gardens, and a Sky-High Glide

After breakfast, get ready for another day of exploration. First, you will take a thrilling ride on the Darjeeling Ropeway (Cable Car), which soars over verdant tea gardens, offering breathtaking views of the valley and the snow-clad mountains.

Following this, you will proceed to the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, home to rare species like the Red Panda and the Snow Leopard. Adjacent to the zoo is the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI), a must-visit for adventure enthusiasts. Here, you can explore a museum dedicated to the art and science of mountaineering. Later, you can enjoy a peaceful stroll through the lush Lloyd's Botanical Garden to admire a vast collection of Himalayan flora.

Scenic Goodbyes and Lakeside Serenity

Savour your final breakfast in the mountains as we prepare for your departure. Instead of a direct route, we take a scenic drive to Bagdogra/NJP via the beautiful hill station of Mirik. The journey itself is a visual treat, passing through orange orchards and pine forests.

Upon reaching Mirik, you will spend time at the stunning Sumendu Lake. Here, you can enjoy a peaceful boat ride, walk across the charming bridge, or simply relax by the water's edge. Afterwards, we continue our drive, ensuring you reach Bagdogra Airport or NJP Station in time for your flight or train, carrying with you a treasure trove of wonderful memories.
